First Religious Profession of Asmina, Lidia and Paulina January 22, 2022

Posted January 28, 2022

“My soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices…”

This sentence from the Magnificat expresses the feelings of the novices and of all of us who lived this celebration on January 22nd. The RSHM family is now larger and richer.

The Novitiate community prepared, with great care, this event: rehearsals, invitations, technology, food, etc. – beautiful teamwork – synodality.

The most solemn act, the Eucharist, was celebrated by 3 priests with RSHM, Christians from the parish and friends present. Face-to-face participation had to be limited due to the pandemic, though we had the joy of having sisters from all over the Institute via online. Sister Paré, in the name of Sister Margaret Fielding, received the Novice’s vows and gave each newly professed the Institute’s cross.

Everything took place in a prayerful atmosphere, enlivened by appropriate chants and harmonious dances which gave great life to the celebration.

Asmina, Lídia and Paulina entered the Institute with a strong sense of belonging and all of us, present or through social networks say: WELCOME.
