Our mission as Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary is to proclaim that Jesus Christ calls all people to fullness of life. This vision informs the variety of ministries in which we are engaged. Today, we work in colleges and universities, secondary and elementary schools. We serve in parishes and prisons, in hospitals and homes, in studios, social projects, and after-school centers, in retreat houses and retirement homes. We are present as an NGO at the United Nations.
Action for justice is integral to our mission. Fidelity to the spirit of our founder Father Jean Gailhac and our foundress Mother St. Jean Pelissier Cure commits us to work against the forces that destroy life and in service of those whose dignity is threatened. We are especially committed to the empowerment of women and children.
Today we are present in France, Ireland, Portugal, England, United States of America, Brazil, Italy, Wales, Colombia, Mozambique, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Scotland and East Timor.
