RSHM Safeguarding Policy and General Data Protection Regulation

In accord with Gospel values and the Mission of the Institute, we, Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, and those associated with us in mission, are committed to protecting and promoting the life, dignity and fundamental human rights of all persons, ensuring that the rights of minors and vulnerable adults are respected and defended. We abhor and actively denounce anything that is contrary to this – any form of abuse in word or action that undermines that dignity and respect.

As stated in our Institute’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures, we will collaborate with the legal system in each country in which we work, to ensure a transparent and open process, in addressing any safeguarding issues that threaten minors and vulnerable people we work with and those we serve through our ministries.
