RSHM Professes Final Vows in Zimbabwe

Posted January 5, 2020

On December 28, 2019, RSHM celebrated the final profession of Sr. Deborah Jamali in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe. It was an occasion full of joy and thanksgiving, as Deborah gave herself completely and forever to God as a Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Sr. Florence Muuka, Regional Superior, called Deborah forth and Sr. Sipiwe Phiri, General Councilor, received her vows. Bishop Raymond Mupandasekwa of Chinhoyi presided at the Eucharistic celebration, and many priests and religious were present to help us celebrate this wonderful day. A number of friends and relatives of Deborah, including her mother, her twin sister and her parish priest, made the long journey by bus from Malawi to be with Deborah. The parish of Musha we Betania (House of Bethany) provided a wonderful reception, followed by lively entertainment. May God continue leading and guiding Deborah as she continues living the RSHM mission “to know and love God, to make God known and loved, in order that all may have life.”
