New Institute Institute Leadership Team Starts in November

Posted October 7, 2025

The new Institute Leader, Sister Coltrida Mooya, will begin her mandate in November, serving for the next six years (2025–2031). She will be accompanied by Sisters, Teresa Nogueira, Sipiwe Phiri, Madalena Manhiça, Veronica Brand, and Conceição Pereira, who will serve as Councillors.

The transition, which will include both the new Institute Leadership Team and the outgoing Team — composed of Sisters Margaret Fielding, Maria Aparecida Moreira, Sipiwe Phiri, Ana Luísa Pinto, and Monica Walsh — will take place on November 21, in Rome.

We continue united as Women of prophetic hope, walking together, risking the new, always closely accompanied by our Collaborators, Extended Family, Global Network of Schools, and friends.

We are deeply grateful to Sisters Margaret, Maria Aparecida, Ana Luísa, Sipiwe, and Monica for the seeds they have sown for the future. We also thank Sisters Coltrida, Sipiwe, Teresa, Madalena, Veronica, and Conceição for their generous spirit, openness, and readiness to embrace this new mandate. May the Holy Spirit inspire and guide them, so that All May Have Life.
