From the 24th to the 26th of October 2025, I had the grace of serving as a volunteer assistant at the Jubilee of Synod Teams and Participatory Bodies. It was a deeply meaningful experience, marked by a spirit of communion, joy, and renewed commitment to the mission of walking together as Church.

Throughout the days, I accompanied participants in practical and hospitality tasks, helping them feel welcomed and supported.

A highlight of the Jubilee was the audience with Pope Leo XIV, who warmly received the participants. During the gathering, seven representatives, one from each continent, offered brief presentations on how the Synod is being implemented in their respective regions. The Holy Father listened attentively and responded to their questions, encouraging continued dialogue, shared responsibility, and openness to the Holy Spirit. His words reinforced the importance of journeying together and cultivating a Church that listens and learns in every corner of the world.

After the audience with Pope Leo, we gathered at the UISG (Union of International Superiors General) for a side event with all the Sisters present.Sharing this moment with Sr. Brid Long was a special gift.

I leave this Jubilee feeling encouraged to keep walking forward with courage and hope, trusting that God is always doing something new among us.

It was also a joy to reconnect with many faces I first met during the Synod in October 2023 and 2024. We have truly become a synodal family. The joy of meeting again reminded me that the Spirit continues to guide us along paths of hope and openness.
