Message to all our Sisters, Friends and Collaborators

Posted March 17, 2022

Dear Sisters, Friends and Collaborators, we have all been shocked and distressed these past three weeks by  the harrowing scenes reported in the media about what’s been happening in Ukraine.

In every Area of the Institute we have been reaching out to the people of Ukraine in prayer, compassion and solidarity, taking action wherever possible,  signing petitions, contributing basic items of food, health care and clothing, and opening our houses to offer shelter to those fleeing from war and destruction.  Here at the Generalate we have been reaching out in different ways, along with other organisations and religious congregations, including some who have communities living in Ukraine.

Let us continue to reach out and  to pray for an end to  war and violence and that peace,  justice  and reconciliation  may come about. We will   be especially united with Pope Francis and people everywhere on the 25th of March, when he consecrates Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Loving wishes from all of us at the Generalate.
